My little Prayer.

Dear God,
I said a silent prayer today.
And I hope that you did hear it.
The prayer was short and simple,
But its not for me..its for....

The world is changing too fast.
And evils and ills are catching up.
I wonder how he will survive in such a place.
So I hope you will be there,
Just in case.

I had given him an advice,
It seemed only yesterday.
When he was with me,
In the safe haven of a home.
Acquiring line and concern,
To be a better man.

I hope I have given him all that he needed to know.
To better understand the reason why I am here..

Dear God,
I wish that someday he knows
How much he means a lot and how important he is to me.
Nevertheless I have yet to thank You for listening even if you were
Not responding...

As I grow to be a better individual.
I will not neglect the little, nitty-gritty prayers I used to recite.
Though, my prayers are not for me but at least I remembered you,
To give me a little space in your big list of hearts and prayers to attend to
Lastly, shower him and his loved ones with all Your blessings.
And guide him through life’s hurdles with ease, no difficulties
